Simple-Scholarships
Preference is given to qualified applicants with the greatest financial need who are enrolled full-time in an undergraduate nursing program.
We estimate that 250 new qualified applicants will be selected to receive the scholarship in FY 2005 and that all will be from the first funding preference group:
- who have a zero Expected Family Contribution (EFC) on the Free Application for Federal Student Assistance (FAFSA),
- have agreed to complete their nursing programs as full-time students beginning in the Fall 2005 semester, and are enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an undergraduate nursing program.
- more funding preference information from the 2005 Applicant Bulletin
| Last Year (Academic Year 2004-2005) |
- Nearly 9,000 applications were received.
- 126 scholarships were awarded (total $5.9 million).
- More than 500 qualified applicants received first funding preference (zero EFC and enrolled full time in an undergraduate nursing program)
